An SendGrid integration permits you to import your SendGrid lists into TrueMail, validate them and send the validation results back to SendGrid.
To get started with this integration, login to your TrueMail dashboard and select “Import list” on the right of your dashboard. It will open a modal window showing a list of integrations on the left.
Under “Add Integration” you will see a list of possible integrations. Scroll down and find the one you need. Click on the SendGrid integration and you will see fields input your SendGrid API key on the right.
You can see the list of integrations you have already connected to under “Current”. Select the SendGrid integration to see a list of your lists.
After you are connected to SendGrid, you should see your SendGrid lists. Select one and click “Import List” to begin importing your list. When the list is imported, it can be analyzed and validated.
When you’ve completed validation, you can send the results back to SendGrid by clicking the blue sync button near your list name called "Update your integration list".
During the export process, we create a custom field named “TrueMailValidationStatus” to store the TrueMail validation result (valid, invalid, disposable, catchall, and unverifiable). You can find more about each status here.
Once the results are exported to SendGrid, you can always Re-export or Undo Export. This can be done by clicking on ‘Exported’ button and selecting ‘Re-export’ or ‘Undo Export’ option.
You can reconnect your SendGrid account anytime by following these instructions:
Click “Import list” from your dashboard. On the left you see “SendGrid” under your current integrations. Hover over “SendGrid” and see a white broken link icon to the right. Click on the icon and the integration will be disconnected.
